| The Faculty of Agriculture organized a workshop on "Honey bee diseases and pests" on Wednesday 22/5/2013 at 10:00 am at the Faculty Council Hall. The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Helmy Abdo Ghoniemy, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. Keynote speakers were Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Samie, Professor of Apiculture, Ain Shams University; Prof. Ahmed Abdel Halim, Professor of Apiculture, Cairo University; Prof. Sayed Abdel Tawab, Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environment Development, Faculty of Agriculture, Fayoum University; and Prof. Abdel Halim Mushref, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Agriculture, Fayoum University. The workshop shed light on the most dangerous pests and diseases of honey bees. |
