 Faculty of Agriculture Holds 4th Job Fair |

| On Tuesday 15/4/2014, the Faculty of Agriculture held the 4th Job Fair at Saad Nassar Hall. The event was attended by Prof. Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Farid Awad Hedar, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Khaled Hamza, Vice President for Education and Students' Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Gaber Shedid, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Helmy Abdo Ghoneimy, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Sayed Abdel Tawab Sabry, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Development, Dr. Walid Al Shaimy, Director of Alumni Affairs Center, and Prof. Atef Ahmed Abdel Gayed, Director of Alumni Affairs Unit and Fair Coordinator. Also, a number of employers including Eng. Samir Fahmy, Chairperson of Samtrade Company, businessmen, NGOs, private sector companies, faculty members and agriculture students and alumni were present. In his opening remarks, President Sabry thanked the fair organizers, businessmen and other employers. He also added: "Such fairs are so important that they give a chance for employers to meet with alumni seeking employment Vice President Farid Hedar said that the University has strong ties with its surrounding community, adding that Egypt needs the efforts of its citizens." Vice President Khaled Hamza praised the graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture, pointing out that the University is doing its best to offer better training programs and courses to make graduates more employable. |
