 Training course in childhood education enhancement opens |

| A training programme in childhood education enhancement, organized by the Faculty of Early Childhood Education in collaboration with the Early Childhood Education Enhancement Project (ECEEP) of the Ministry of Education, opened on July 16, 2011. Running until July 26th, the training programme is held under the auspices of President of Fayoum University Ahmed El Gohary. The program which is about the New Improved Syllabus of Early Childhood Education Stage "My Right is to Play, Learn and Create", targets 232 people working as directors, deputy directors, supervisors and teachers. The inaugural session was presided over by Sanaa Haroon, Dean of the Fayoum University's Faculty of Early Childhood Education, and attended by Adly Sedawy, Coordinator of ECEEP and Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environment Development, Mohammad Ismael, Representative of the Ministry of Education, Hassan Hegazy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and Amira Mosa, Senior Supervisor of Early Childhood Education in Fayoum. The program is planned to highlight the recent trends in the fields of early childhood education, Arabic language, English language, social concepts, religious values, ethics, physical education, health and arts. Moreover, topics such as learning and teaching strategies and game-based learning will be touched. It is worth mentioning that this training program comes within the context of a series of activities executed by the Faculty of Early Childhood Education to support integrated development pertaining to early childhood education. |
