Editing of Scientific Material for publishing
Have received an invitation on behalf of the Executive Office for the Committee of Translation & Publishing from Kuwait University for reviewing and evaluating a reference in "Advanced Mechanics of Material".
University Activities
Was responsible for the foundation of a computer laboratory, which was a part of a program aiming for the "Advancement of the Engineering Education". The program was under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the World Bank. Three years later the computer laboratory was completed and in use in 1996. The total budget for that project exceeded an amount of 180,000 LE.
Contributed in the preparation of the designated course description of the Post Graduate Studies in the Civil Engineering Dept.
Was responsible for the supervision of the post graduate program for both the Diploma and Masters that have started in September 1997.
Coordinated the following courses in Kuwait University and the faculty of Engineering in Fayoum:
- Computer aided analysis and design of structures – Kuwait University – 1988 and 1994.
- Using STAAD III Program – Kuwait University – 1989 and 1994.
- ADOSS Program for analyzing and designing different floor slab systems – Kuwait University – 1994-1995.
- SAP90 Program for analyzing reinforced concrete slabs and frames – Faculty of Engineering – Fayoum – 1995.
- Supervisor of the Structural and Reinforced concrete projects in the faculty since 1992.
Presented a public lecture on the effects of Earthquakes on structures, the lecture was given after the 1992 earthquake in Egypt. The debate was held in Fayoum, in the faculty of Engineering.
Director of the structural engineering laboratory in the faculty of Engineering, Fayoum.
Served as the director of the computer laboratory in the faculty of Engineering, Fayoum, from September 92 to September 93 and from September 94 to September 95.

Director of the Center of Research and Engineering Consultation – Cairo University – Fayoum Branch ( sept . 2002 – sept. 2005).
Served as a member of the Higher Committee for Fayoum Governate for deteriorating structures (2001-2004), the Committee is headed by Fayoum Governor.
Carried out Several Quality Control programs for the Ministry of Housing projects in Fayoum since 1997.
Headed several committees for arbitration for the Ministry of Justice.
Headed several committees responsible for the assessment of structures after the 1992 earthquake.
B) Outside the University of Fayoum:
Consultant for the Egyptian Construction Liability Insurance Pool for Fayoum and Bni-Suef Governorates by a decree of the Minister of Planning no.122 ,issued on Sept.,9,2003.
Consultant for the Ministry of Housing in the development of new cities.
Owner and founder of " House of Engineering Expertise" Consulting office in Fayoum.
Partner in the "Integrated Engineering Consulting Group." in Cairo , Nasr City.
