I have gained experience in education and training policy advice and analysis, linked to labour market and employment, acquired in variety of fields such as: Economics of education and training, governance, financing, legislation and quality assurance of education and training ; labour market and employment with particular attention to economic analysis and labour economy; training policy solutions for issues such as unemployment; education and training for socio-economic development, poverty reduction, social inclusion; lifelong learning; monitoring and evaluation of education and training policies and programmes.
I had a key role in preparation of three national policy documents about: Education as a source of national income, Distance and open education, and scientific research and innovation policies. I had effectively participated in discussions about new higher education legalizations.

Experience of working in the private sector, working for ten years (1983 – 1993) as head of maintenance and technical director for Misr International Hospital (MIH), Cairo, Egypt:
I have gained invaluable practical experience leading a team of engineers, technicians and administrators responsible for all hospital engineering and technical aspects, including planning, running, maintenance and repair tasks extended to local and international purchasing and hospital extensions new buildings and departments design participation, construction monitoring and equipments selection and purchasing.
