Prof. Yasser Magdy Hetata, President of Fayoum University, and Prof. Muhammad Saeed Abu Al-Ghar, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, witnessed the Orphans Day celebration, in the presence of Prof. Sanaa Haroun, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Imad Abdel Salam, Media Adviser to the President of the University, and Mr. Mohamed Ali, Director of Communications and Conferences at the General Administration of Community Service. The celebration was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, on Tuesday, 26-4-2022, at the student hostel, and included a collective Ramadan iftar for 35 female workers from Fayoum University and their children.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, welcomed the attendees and thanked all the participants in organizing this ceremony. He stressed that this work emphasizes the importance of community participation and supports interdependence among all members of the Fayoum University family.

Prof.
Muhammad Saeed Abu Al-Ghar, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, stressed the importance of holding this celebration through a collective Ramadan iftar with the university’s female workers and their children. He thanked Prof. Sanaa Haroun and Prof. Ahmed Hosni, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Work, and all those in charge of this celebration and those who contributed, whether with effort or money, to bring joy to the female workers and their children.

During the celebration, Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saeed Abu Al-Ghar, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, drew lots to present valuable prizes that included electrical and electronic appliances, household appliances and furniture. Gifts were also distributed to all female workers' children who participated in the ceremony.
