Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ali Abdelfattah, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Fayoum University has participated in the General Assembly of Arab Agricultural Faculties, which was held at King Salman International University (KSIU), in Ras Sidr, South Sinai Governorate, during the period 7-8 February 2023. The meeting discussed unifying under and postgraduate courses at Faculties of Agriculture in Arab countries, exchange of outstanding students and faculty members, and establishment of a scientific journal on one of the international platforms.

Also a workshop was held with two keynote speakers entitled "Agricultural Development and the Challenges of Climate Change" and “Rehabilitation and Adaptation to the Challenges of Climate Change”, followed by joint discussions among the experts of the Faculties of Agriculture.

The meeting was attended by deans of agricultural faculties from universities and Arab countries.
