On Tuesday 19/7/2011, Safia Mahmoud Abdel-Mageed, a master's-level researcher and a teaching assistant at the Department of Botany, is going to defend her Master thesis on “Effect of Salinity on Growth, Anatomical Structure, Chemical Composition, Yield and Grain Quality of Transgenic and Non-Transgenic Wheat (Triticum aestivm L.) Plants”. Thesis committee consists of Professor Hosny Mohammad Abdel-Dayem, Professor of Plant Physiology, Faculty of Agriculture, Moshtoher, Benha University; Prof. Saad El-din Abdel-Wahab Mohammad, Professor of Botany and Chair of Botany Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Fayoum University; and Dr. Mohammad Ahmed Seif Al-Yazzal, Professor of Plant Physiology.
