Prof. Ahmed Gaber Shedid, President of Fayoum University, issued a decree No. (1228) for the year 2020 regarding the appointment of Prof. Kamal Hassan Morsy Ghallab, Professor in the Crops Department at Faculty of Agriculture and Acting Vice Dean of the Institute for Research and Strategic Studies for the Nile Basin Countries for Postgraduate Studies and Research, as the Acting Dean of the Research Institute and strategic studies for the Nile Basin countries.

This came after reviewing Law No. (49) of 1972 regarding the organization of universities and the laws amending it, and based on Presidential Decree No. 809 of 1975 issuing the executive regulations for the Universities Organization Law and its amending decisions.
