Today, the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence held a seminar on the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Khafaga, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Hesham Farouk, Advisor for Technological Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and former Assistant Minister of Higher Education; Prof. Raniya Abu al-Saud, former Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Mostafa Thabet; Dr. Mostafa Rabie; Dr. Ahmed Salama; and a large number of students.

During the event, Dr. Hesham Farouk announced the launch of the Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The initiative aims to achieve leadership in information and communication technology by developing skilled and creative cadres capable of leading the digital transformation path.

The objectives of the initiative include enhancing the skills of students and graduates in modern technologies, providing an environment conducive to starting private businesses for young people on freelance platforms, and preparing students and graduates to secure distinguished jobs in the information and communication technology sector.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with major local and international companies specializing in technological skills development. These companies organize various activities, including training courses to build youth capacities, practical workshops, and contributions to enriching the educational process.
