The activities of the comprehensive survey initiative for university students on obesity and correcting dietary habits continue at the College of Dentistry.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Assem Al-Essawi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor Dr. Hamdy Mohamed Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Professor Dr. Naglaa El-Sherbiny, Vice President of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the activities of the comprehensive survey initiative continued today. For university students about obesity, which is organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in cooperation with the College of Medicine, at the College of Dentistry, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Al-Shaima Ahmed, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, today, Monday, March 4, 2024.
Prof. Dr. Al-Shaima Ahmed loved the members of the initiative team from the College of Medicine, and thanked Professor Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Assem Al-Issawi, Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs, for their generous sponsorship of this initiative, which is concerned with monitoring the health of male and female students, and directed the female students to the necessity of benefiting from Provided by this initiative
The initiative aims to conduct a comprehensive survey for Fayoum University students to detect obesity, through which a questionnaire is conducted for students regarding eating habits, providing health education on healthy eating behaviors, measuring weight and height, calculating body mass index, and transferring students who suffer from severe obesity to a therapeutic nutrition clinic in hospitals.
