Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, Professor Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Professor Dr. Assem Al-Essawi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Naglaa El-Sherbiny, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Lamia Ahmed Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Professor Dr. Al-Shaima Ahmed, Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Sameh Ashmawy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Fayoum, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation, the College of Medicine, the College of Dentistry, the College of Nursing and the College of Agriculture, organized a comprehensive convoy to serve the people of the village of Mattaras and the villages. Dr. Nevin Shaaban, Director of Basic Care at the Health Directorate in Fayoum, participated in the implementation of the caravan. Today, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the health unit headquarters in the village of Matartars, Sinur Center.
Professor Dr. Assem Al-Issawi stated that the medical convoy succeeded in providing medical examination and treatment for 912 cases from the people of the village of Matartars and its neighboring villages, including the village of Al-Ghoul, the village of Ashour, Abdullah Pasha, Al-Junaidi, Ezbet Abu Al-Nur, and Ezbet Al-Ikhsas, where 147 were examined in the orthopedic specialty 125 Dental cases, 184 internal medicine cases, 165 children’s cases, and 291 dermatology cases.
