A reception ceremony for new and old students at the College of Dentistry

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Assem Fouad Al-Essawi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, Professor Dr. Lamia Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, witnessed the activities of the welcoming ceremony for new students at the Faculty of Dentistry.
In the presence of Professor Dr. Maha Al-Qurashi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Imad Abdel Salam, Media Advisor to the University President and Director of the University Center for Professional Development, Professor Dr. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and a number of faculty members, administrators, and students, today, Tuesday, 10/2024. /22 in the college conference hall.
At the beginning of her speech, Prof. Dr. Lamia Ibrahim emphasized that the university stage is a stage full of challenges and opportunities, noting the importance of gaining self-confidence, commitment to study, and dedication to work. She also added that studying in college is not limited to theoretical learning only, but rather contributes to acquiring practical skills that help in providing... Prof. Dr. Maha Al-Qurashi also welcomed the new students to the College of Dentistry, and stressed that the college administration always seeks to provide all means of comfort in the educational process. She added that the college is fully prepared to receive suggestions and complaints submitted by students at any time, calling on students to participate. In various student activities in the college because it contributes to expanding the circle of knowledge and enhancing social relations.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Imad Abdel Salam spoke about the role of the College of Dentistry student in preparing for the professional future, pointing out the importance of planning for the future, starting with joining college and developing effective plans and directions to build the professional future correctly, through striving, diligence, developing skills, and developing capabilities.
Prof. Dr. Wael Tobar also congratulated the new students joining the College of Dentistry, which is considered one of the university’s distinguished colleges, and pointed out that the reception primarily aims to break the barrier between the college administration and the students, adding that the College of Dentistry presented many distinguished students in student activities. The best evidence of this is that students from the college took first places in the ideal student competition at the level of Egyptian universities in two consecutive years.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the distinguished faculty members, administrators, and students in student activities were honored.
