Research Interests

Isolating, purifying, and identifying of axinec algal strains.

Using of free and immobilized algae in treatment of industrial wastewater.

Using algal biofilters to remove toxic heavy metals from industrial effluents.

Algal bioassay using free and immobilized cultures for toxicity screening and assessment of hazardous substances including chemicals, pesticides and complex industrial effluents.

Production of Spirulina powder for medical and pharmaceutical applications.
