The Faculty of Science held a reception for the new students of the first class on Monday, 25/9/2017, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Arafa Sabri, Dean of the College, Dr. Khaled Zaghloul, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs and Dr. Saleh Al-Awni, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Abu Al-Ghar, Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Mohammed Agha, student communication officer at the college, and a number of faculty members, youth welfare officials and student affairs. Where he welcomed Prof. Sabri introduced the new students to the new students and urged them to continue diligence during the years of the bachelor's degree after graduation from the secondary level, explaining that the purpose of this meeting is to introduce students in the departments of the College and how to communicate with the Department and to identify them activities that they can exercise and how to use their time in college and the need to prove themselves Since the first semester. He also stressed the status of the Faculty of Science at Fayoum University within a few colleges officially accredited by the National Authority to ensure the quality of education and accreditation, and this confirms the status of the college graduate and his ability to join various sectors and institutions and scientific companies after graduation. For his part, Prof. Khaled Zaghloul, introduced the students to the mechanism of adaptations followed. And stressed the need to strive to obtain the highest estimates to join the desired division according to the capacity of the departmental laboratories. He explained that all the courses have a comprehensive description of them and stressed the need to adhere to lectures theoretical and practical and not rely on one side without the other to achieve excellence in the college. Dr. Saleh Al-Awni gave some important tips for students, including how to invest their time and skills in what is beneficial, in addition to inviting them to communicate with the various faculty members of the faculty. Prof. Mohammed Saeed Abu Al-Ghar also stressed that this academic year is distinguished as being the first after the College has gained accreditation and recommended that students do their best and set their goals for a better future. At the end of the meeting, the student guide was distributed to all new students.
