Within the framework of introducing students to the goals and work system of the community enlightenment project in the Faculty, Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty, stressed the importance of the participation of Faculty students in eradicating illiteracy through the efforts of those in charge of the community enlightenment project and how the project is one of the major national projects and in which directives were issued regarding the need for university students to participate in.

For his part, Prof. Youssef Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained the need to participate and know the work system in the project, given that every university student is required to eradicate illiteracy of 6 illiterate persons, and indicated that the university council took a decision to consider this as a graduation requirement.

Dr. Ola Gamal, the project coordinator at the Faculty, indicated to the idea of the community enlightenment project, the steps to register the illiterate, the incentives, and how to communicate with them, and motivating students to participate in the project.
