Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser MagdyHatta, President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al Khabiri, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, Dean of the College and Prof. Youssef Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Social Work received a delegation from the Ministry of Health representing Presidential Initiative for Egyptian Women's Health.

This initiative came to support women's health, as they are the most important segments of society and most in need of awareness and health care.

The initiative aims at early detection of breast tumors and also includes awareness of reproductive health, detection of noncommunicable diseases (diabetes - blood pressure, etc.), in addition to risk factors that cause noncommunicable diseases, and raising awareness of the self-examination method. The medical team representing the initiative from the Ministry of Health examined the faculty staff and students, in addition to carrying out educational campaigns inside the classrooms to raise awareness of how to self-examination and early detection of breast tumors, and to educate their families about this matter. Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty confirmed that this is the role of the Faculty of Service in preparing human cadres through study and field training, and that the Ministry of Health is concerned with the technical aspects, while the Faculty is concerned with the human aspects in raising awareness, education and access to the largest number of community members for the early detection of tumors and diseases and that these initiatives are being implemented to the fullest.
He also extended his sincere thanks to all the medical staff from the Ministry of Health.
