| The Faculty of Dar Al Uloom held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 the inauguration ceremony of the faculty's newly elected students' union. The event was attended by a host of high profile figures, namely Prof. Rabie Abdul Aziz, vice-dean for Education and Students, Dr. Saber Mashaly, chair of Department of Islamic Law, Brigadier General Atef Abdul Azim, Major General Taiseer Al Teby, Colonel Osama Abdul Alim, Major General Abdullah Salem, Major General Mustafa Hassan, and Brigadier Generals Hassan Mohram and Mamdouh Farg.
