Held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, the meeting was to discuss the proposal submitted by minister of higher education regarding choosing university senior management during this transitional phase until enacting a new legislation for higher education. According to the proposal, university senior management officers will be elected. Mrs. Sahar Fathy Abdul Mohsen was elected as the assistant lecturers' representative while as the demonstrators elected Mrs. Hind Salahedin Hassan as their representative.
