The event is held under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El Gohary, president of Fayoum University. A number of high profile figures attended the opening ceremony. Key among them were Professor Abdul Hamid Abdul Tawab, vice-president, Community Service and Environment Development, Professor Sanaa Haroun, dean, Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Dr. Ahmed Megahed, head, the General Egyptian Book Organization (GEBO), and Mr. Ahmed Orabi, director-general, GEBO's Distribution Division. It is noteworthy mentioning that the 42nd Cairo International Book Fair which is being hosted on the Fayoum University premises is regarded as the biggest book exhibition nationwide as it features more than four thousand books in different branches of knowledge, including philosophy, psychology, theology, social sciences, applied and pure sciences, arts, literature, handmade objects…etc. Powered by  Group | All contents © Copyright 2007 - 2018 Fayoum University.
