13th University Teacher Preparation Course Opens |

Professor Ragaa Ahmed Eid has opened today the 13th University Teacher Preparation Course held at the Conference Hall, Faculty of Education. The course which is held during 10-19 April 2011 aims at training 25 lecturers and assistant lecturers. The opening ceremony was attended by a host of high-profile faculty namely Professor Amal Rabie Kamel, vice-dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Professor Mohammad Farouk Al-Khabeery, professor of Curriculum and Methodology. Opening the course, Dean Ragaa Ahmed Eid delivered a welcome speech. Then, she provided a brief introduction about the course and its importance. "This course is the first step to develop a good teaching staff member as it can provide him/her with a wide array of skills and abilities such as self evaluation and effective teaching," she said. She added that one of the main objectives of that course was that it exemplified the role played by the University towards rendering high quality services for its staff. Following, the course started its activities with a lecture given by Professor Mohammad Farouk Al-Khabeery. |
