 9th Teacher Preparation Course Opens |

| Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Prof. Dr. Mohammed El Khaleely inaugurated the 9th Teacher Preparation Course. Running from 5/4 to 14/4/2009, the course is held at the Convention Hall of Faculty of Education. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries, including Prof. Dr. Ragaa Mohamed Eid, Dean of Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Morad Saleh Morad, vice-dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and a group of the faculty staff assistants and participants. The opening session commenced with an introductory speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Ragaa Eid in which she pointed out the importance of that course for the university teacher. "Among the objectives of the course is to identify the future development efforts being done by the University as well as services it provides to the faculty members", she added. Then, Prof. Dr. Morad Saleh said "This course is the beginning of the development of a faculty staff member of as it helps him/her acquire a lot of skills and capacities such as self-assessment and effective teaching." Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Khaleely closed the opening session with a speech in which he stressed the importance of commitment to the course. He also called on the participants to exert their best in the preparation of theses to obtain foreign scholarships. "This course is a real opportunity for every researcher to develop his scientific and research skills", he concluded. |
