 3rd Career fair opens doors for agriculture alumni |

| Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab, President of Fayoum University, held a meeting with the alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture on the sidelines of the 3rd Career Fair which was held under the auspices of Eng. Ahmed Ali, Governor of Fayoum, on March 5, 2012. The event took place in Saad Nassar Hall. The meeting was attended by Professor Farid Awad Hedar, Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development, Professor Khaled Hamza, Vice-President for Education and Students' Affairs, Professor Helmy Abdu Ghoneimy, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Sayed Abdel Tawab, Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environment Development, Professor Wedad Azab Metry, coordinator of the meeting, as well as a number of faculty members. Also, some firms were present, including Kafr El Zayat for Pesticides & Chemicals Co., Egyptian Salts and Minerals Co. (EMISAL), Sam Trade, and El Helb Pesticides and Chemicals Co. The fair began with a recitation of some verses of the Holy Quran, followed by a minute's silence on the victims of Port Said football match. After that, the University President took the floor. He said that the 3rd Career Fair gave fresh graduates the opportunity to acquire skills of interviews, to know how to write a CV properly, and it also offered them the opportunity to get their name out to potential employers. |
