 University President Opens 16th University Teacher Preparation Course |

| The University Teacher Preparation Program, a teaching program dedicated to faculty members, held the opening ceremony for its 16th Course in the Faculty of Education on April 19, 2012. The opening ceremony was attended by Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab, President of Fayoum University, Professor Farid Awad Hedar, Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Ahmed Taha, Dean, Faculty of Education, and Prof. Mohammad Farouk Ali, Vice-Dean, Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Samiha Ali Mohammad, Vice-Dean, Community Service and Environment Development. In his speech, the University President said: " 38 faculty members from the faculties of Medicine, Science, Tourism and Hotels, Social Work and Arts, will participate in the course. The course will provide the trainees with a solid knowledge of the latest trends in university teaching, and having them trained in the use of e-learning, digital library, effective presentation and teaching skills, concepts of evaluation and different methods of assessment." |
