 19th University Teacher Training Program kicks off |

| Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, President of Fayoum University, opened the 19th University Teacher Training Program which is hosted by the Faculty of Education from 12/5/2013 through M20/5/2013. The opening ceremony was attended by Dean of Faculty of Education Professor Ahmed Taha, Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Reseach Professor Mohammad Farouk Ali, and Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environment Development Professor Samiha Makhlouf. In his opening remarks, the University President said: "The course aims to highlight the role of the university in community service and environment development as well as the efforts being exerted by Fayoum University to excel the performance of both teaching assistants and lecturers inside classes through imbuing them with a knowledge of the latest trends in university teaching, and having them trained in the use of e-learning styles, digital library, effective presentation and teaching skills effective presentation and teaching skills, concepts of evaluation and different methods of assessment." "Twenty-five lecturers and teaching assistants from faculties of Social Work, Agriculture, Arts, Engineering, Medicine and Science are attending the course in which a wide variety of learning methods and hands-on training are provided," said Dean Ahmed Taha. |
