| As a continuation of the activities of the 16 Days of Campaign to Combat Violence against Women, the College of Education organized today, Tuesday, 29/11/2022 AD, a silver workshop for girls ** under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amal Gomaa Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Faculty of Education and organized by Prof. Dr. Nohair Al-Shoshani, Director of the Anti-Violence against Women Unit at the university, and Dr. Ibtisam Muhammad Mohamed, coordinator of the unit, where the Anti-Violence against Women Unit at the Faculty of Education organized a silver workshop for girls, in which Prof. Dr. Ikram Mojawar lectured Chairman of the Executive Committee to Combat Violence against Women at the University, Prof. Dr. Hanaa Ezzat, Professor and Head of the Department of Educational Psychology at the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Nohair Al-Shoshani, Director of the Unit for Combating Violence against Women at the University. The workshop aimed to discuss the life problems faced by girls, which are considered a type of violence practiced against them, and try to develop solutions to them or direct them to the responsible authorities to solve them, which Prof. Dr. Nohair referred to some of these bodies, the most important of which is the National Council for Women, by communicating with the complaints office and the hotline 15115 to receive everything related to the problems of violence and harassment, as well as her Excellency referred to the Center for Hosting and Protection of Battered Women in Fayoum, and also you can go to the Anti-Violence Unit at the university. To receive such problems and try to solve them. One of the most important problems that have been discussed with girls is verbal violence, which girls are exposed to all the time, whether from within the family, society or from their colleagues, as well as early marriage or forced marriage during study, as well as a sense of hatred of life and loss of passion for anything. All these problems have been addressed by the lecturers, both from the practical side and how to deal with such problems as well as from the psychological side.
