The Faculty of Science announces that Amer Shabaan Mohammed kotub, an assistant lecturer at the Department of Physics, is going to defend his doctoral dissertation titled " All-Optical Logic Gates using Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers (SOAs)" on Sunday 16 October 2011 in the Seminar Hall. Thesis Examination Committee consists of:
-Professor Gamal Sobhy Ahmed Said, Professor, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Cairo University;
-Professor Samy Allam, Professor, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Cairo University; and
-Dr. Taha abdel-mageed Hanafy, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Fayoum University.
