Headed by Prof. Dr. Arfa Sabry Juma Dean of the College The meeting of the Council of the Faculty of Science held session (279) on 20/9/2017 at 11:00 am at the headquarters of the College Council. The Board was attended by the College's agents, the heads of the scientific departments and members of the College Council. Where Prof. Dr. / Arfa Sabry Juma, Dean of the College, started the session by welcoming the audience. The Minister also started by ratifying the minutes of the previous session and discussing the topics of the Education and Student Affairs Committee. The topics were also mentioned by the Higher Studies and Research Committee, the Committee for Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development and the Committee on Cultural Relations, in addition to the topics of the Library Committee. * - Confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting No. 278 dated 23/8/2017 * - Briefing the Council with the speech of Mr. / Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the administrative procedures that will witness the new academic year a good start and regular in various university activities. * - Briefing the Council with a letter from the Acting Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Supreme Council for the confirmation of the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities issued on 31/7/2010, which provides the following: - "Students wishing to study in Egyptian universities are accepted Bachelor's degree or other higher qualifications from a university college affiliated to the Egyptian universities under the law of organizing universities or Al-Azhar University or military colleges or the police academy. The student must pay the fees of five thousand pounds annually to the theoretical colleges and eight thousand pounds annually Colleges process by peer-to provide new educational opportunities for Egyptian universities and if the internal regulations of colleges permit. " * - Briefing the session with a letter from the Acting Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities regarding the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities in its session held on 19/8/2017 to approve the agreement to grant a Master degree between the Master of Nanotechnology at the Faculty of Science - Fayoum University and the Master of Nanotechnology at the University of Rovira, . * - Briefing the Council with the speech of Mr. / Rector of the University regarding the submission of sovereignty to all the subjects that have been presented to the Supreme Council of Universities or are being presented to the Council and is in the process of issuing ministerial decisions to be followed up and work to address the Supreme Council of Universities in order to ensure regularity Educational process . * - Briefing the Board with the letter of Mr. / Vice President for Education and Students Affairs regarding the request to submit his sovereignty by nominating a faculty member from the faculty to become a member of the Supreme Disciplinary Board for the academic year 2017/2018 in accordance with Article (184) of Law No. 49 of the year 1972 on the organization of Egyptian universities not to be a member of the Student Disciplinary Board. * - Consideration of the note submitted by the Library of the College regarding the request to approve the issuance of Carney informed students, in accordance with Article (32) of the list of libraries of Fayoum University. * - Considering that the Department of Zoology has already approved the transfer of Mr. Ahmed Atwa Mohamed Atwa - Assistant Lecturer Department of Zoology - Faculty of Science - Al-Azhar University of Assiut Branch to the Department of Zoology Faculty of Science - Fayoum University in May 2016, on request Submitted by His Excellency. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Zoology on the nomination of Dr. / Mohamed Salah - teacher in the department - Secretary of the Council for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Zoology to form the Council of the Department for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Geology to form the Council of the Department for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Mathematics on the formation of the Department Council for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Plant Section Board to form the Department Council for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Physics on the formation of the Department Council for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Chemistry on the formation of the Council of the Department for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Plant Section Board to add the members of the faculty to form the qualitative committees in the College for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Board of Mathematics Department on the nomination of members of the faculty to participate in the committees for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Geology to nominate the members of the faculty to participate in the committees for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Department of Zoology to nominate the members of the faculty to participate in the committees for the academic year 2017/2018. * - Consideration of the approval of the Council of the Mathematics Department on the assignment of the members of the faculty members who are named to teach at the Faculty of Computer and Information during the first semester of the academic year 2017/2018 in the context of the speech received from the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Fayoum University, Dr. Abdel Azim Abdel Hady.
