  Launching an Initiative to Raise the Efficiency of Research Laboratories in Public Universities

Within the framework of the state's interest in basic sciences and building a strong scientific base, and in implementation of the state's strategy for science, technology and innovation 2030, which in its first strategic objective is to create an environment conducive to science, technology and innovation and build a strong scientific base. It is a program to raise the efficiency of research and development laboratories in public universities with the start of science faculties, especially the departments of mathematics and physics as a first stage.
Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the launch of the Science Up initiative, a program to raise the efficiency of research and development laboratories in government universities, with the start of science faculties, especially the departments of mathematics and physics as a first stage.
In implementation of this initiative, Faculty of Science announces the provision of services and measurements for my two devices (infrared instantaneous, thermal properties measurement).
First: - Instant Infrared Device (FTIR-ALPHA II)
The device is characterized by high quality in chemically analyzing samples and quickly through very fast software. For example, in the field of polymers, raw materials can be analyzed from samples in the scientific research sector, whether they are liquid or solid.
Applications of the device in various fields of community service
1 -Industry: Paint materials can be tested on used surfaces and oils by identifying their spectral composition.
2-Food and medicine: also in the analysis of liquids from water and drinks of different composition to identify the foreign components inside. Some accessories are also available with the device for calculating the amount of ammonia and yttrium oxide. Thus, it is possible to know the legal and illegal materials in different vehicles.
3- Agriculture: The device is able to identify the different types of soil and the pollutants in it.
4-Crafts and jewelry: The device is also an affordable tool for identifying and classifying diamonds and other precious stones.
Second: - Thermal properties measuring device (TGA-STA 6000)
The device is characterized by high quality in testing different thermal conditions for oils, greases (petroleum or vegetable) and polymers and giving them their thermal specifications in a very short time and with high accuracy, which gives users, manufacturers and researchers a high speed in improving samples and improving quality quickly.
