As part of this year’s centennial celebrations that mark the centenary of the birth of Naguib Mahfouz (1911–2006) and pay tribute to his extraordinary literary achievements, the Supreme Cultural Committee of Fayoum University will hold a special evening to be given by prominent literary figures.

The evening will be organized under the auspices of Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab, President of Fayoum University, Professor Khaled Hamza, Vice-President, Education and Students' Affairs, Professor Farid Awad Hedar, Dean, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, and Professor Mohsen Mohammad, Advisor to the Supreme Cultural Committee.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13 in the Fayoum University Cultural Club, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Fourth Floor.
