Fayoum University: Opening of the Student Families Carnival
Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the opening of the Student Families Carnival (Students for Egypt) under the slogan “Egypt Can with Its Youth,” which was organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare, in the presence of Professor Dr. Galal Mustafa Al-Saeed, former Minister of Transport and Communications, and Professor Dr. Saad Nassar, Governor Former Fayoum, Professor Dr. Muhammad Farouk Al-Khabiri, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Arafa Sabry, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Assem Al-Essawi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor Dr. Ayman Al-Essawi, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, and Mr. Members of the University Council, today, Wednesday 2/28/2024, on campus.
Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata stated that the Student Families Festival is held every year for the purpose of identifying students’ skills and ideas and providing the colleges with the opportunity to demonstrate their good organization and management of time, and to work to enhance the values ??of participation and teamwork, stressing the university administration’s support for all student activities.

Prof. Dr. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, indicated that the criteria for judging the festival included adherence to time, public order, creativity in the festival’s slogan, and expression of the nature of study at the college, and that the number of students participating in the show should be 15 to 20 students from each college.
The festival includes a number of competitions, including the Arabic calligraphy competition, the best portrait competition, the printed cultural competition, the best poem, the best selfie, the best newspaper article, and the best documentary film. The festival will conclude next Tuesday, 3/5/2023.
