Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, witnessed the proceedings of the discussion of the first master’s thesis in the history of the Faculty of Dentistry at Fayoum University by one of its graduates, in the presence of: Prof. Dr. / Lamia Ahmed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nayrouz Abdel Fattah Muhammad, Acting Vice Dean for College Affairs

Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ismail Hamza; Former President of Fayoum University, Prof. Dr. Kamal Ghallab; Professor at the College of Agriculture, Dr. Alaa Al-Ashery; The head of the Fayoum Dentists Syndicate, in addition to a group of faculty members, the collDoctor Mustafa Othman Ali, who is registered for a master’s degree in the Department of Retained Prosthodontics, is the first student from the college’s graduates to discuss his thesis as the first thesis in the history of the college since the start of its postgraduate studies. The supervisory committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Alia Ibrahim Mahrous, Professor and Head of the Department of Retained Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Fayoum University (as chief supervisor), Dr. Mahmoud Osama Abdel Ghani, a lecturer in the Department of Retained Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Medicine. The discussion and judging committee was formed by: Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel Majeed Qatamesh; Professor in the Department of Retained Prosthodontics and former Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Fayoum University (chairman and discussant), Prof. Dr. Alia Ibrahim Mahrous (supervisor and discussant), and Dr. Haitham Amr Mohamed Amr; Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University Fayoum (discussed). This will be at exactly eleven o’clock in the morning today, Thursday, October 3, 2024 AD, in the College Seminar Hall (the new building).

After the end of the discussion, Mr. Prof. Dr. Arafa Sabri Hassan met with the members of the Department of Retained Prosthodontics and a number of faculty members and the supporting staff. His Excellency congratulated everyone on the occasion of discussing the first master’s thesis, while writing down any proposals to advance scientific research in the college. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research thanked everyone who contributed to building the college, including the former presidents and deputies of Fayoum University, as well as the former deans of the college.
