  Congratulations to the Faculty of Social Work’s Journal of Social Studies and Research

Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty, extends his warmest congratulations and appreciation to the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Social Work’s Journal of Social Studies and Research, represented by Prof. Nasser Owais Abdel Tawab, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Fawzi Mohamed El HadyShehata, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, for awarding the Journal of the Faculty of Social Work, Fayoum University for Social Studies and Research the Criteria of Arab Citation & Impact Factor (ARCIF).
Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that ARCIF laboratories examined and studied the data of more than 5100 Arab scientific journals in various disciplines issued by more than 1400 scientific and research bodies in 20 Arab countries, and only 1000 scientific journals succeeded to be accredited within international standards for ARCIF coefficients in the 2022 report.
The Journal of the Faculty of Social Work, Fayoum University for Social Studies and Research, has succeeded in achieving the standards for accreditation of ARCIF (32 standards), obtained the ARCIF coefficient for the year 2021 (0.1809), and ranked twenty-first in the field of social sciences (interdisciplinary) out of 136 journal at the Arab level.
The dean also pointed out that the impact factor, Arcif, is under the supervision of the Supervision and Coordination Council, which consists of representatives of several Arab and international bodies, including: the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab Countries in Beirut, the United Nations Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Library of Alexandria, e-Marefa Database, the International Specialized Libraries Association and others, in addition to a scientific committee of experts and academics with a leading scientific reputation from several Arab countries and Britain.
He also extends his sincere congratulations to all the faculty members of the Faculty for obtaining the journal this advanced classification, which is a strong indicator of the extent of development and impact of scientific production in the Faculty.
Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, added that what the Faculty journal has achieved reflects distinguished scientific efforts, which contributed to the upgrading and development of academic and practical production in the Faculty and their keenness to develop the scientific journal to reach the ranks of international journals classified within global databases.
