Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser MagdiHatata, President of the University and Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabiri, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Hosni Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Youssef Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Nasser Owais Abdel Tawab, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Heba Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Director of the Public Relations Unit, Dr. Masoud Abdel Hamid, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty, Dr. HakimaRagab, Director of the Public Service Center at the Faculty, faculty members, assistant staff, administrators and students of the Faculty, a reception for new students was held at the Faculty, on Tuesday, 1-11-2022.

In his speech, Prof. Ahmed Hosni, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the new students in the Faculty of Social Work, stressing that the Faculty administration and faculty members are considered fathers and mothers for students, and therefore students must adhere to university rules and regulations, and learn about the rights and duties of a university student, wishing a successful academic year for his students in different years.

Prof. Youssef Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that studying at the Faculty of Social Work provides its students with many job opportunities in various fields, and qualifies them to meet the needs of the labor market requirements. He also invited them to participate in the various student activities in the Faculty because of their great importance in building personality and developing skills and talents.

Prof. Nasser Owais, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, also stressed the importance of diligence in studying, commitment to attending lectures, reading, and love of knowledge in general, so that students can enroll in postgraduate studies, whether master's or doctoral degrees.

At the end of the ceremony, the outstanding and distinguished students in student activities were honored, in addition to honoring the faculty members and administrators of the Faculty.
