On Sunday 4/5/2014, Professor Ashraf Abdel Hafiz, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, inaugurated the first exhibition held by fresh students majoring in art education under the theme of "Artistic Touches" at Al-Thawra Hall of the Fayoum University's Faculty of Specific Education.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Gamal Abdel Samed, Vice Dean for Education and Students' Affairs, Prof. Hesham Mohamed Al-Deeb, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Mona Mohamed Al-Agry, Chair of Art Education Dept., and a number of faculty members.
The exhibition was held under the auspices of Prof. Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, President of Fayoum University. It was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Hawas, lecturer of Sculpture, Dr. Wael Al-Badry, lecturer of Design, and Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Naser, lecturer of Painting and Photography at the Department of Art Education. Works on display included portraits and formations from nature.
