| Today, the Faculty of Computers and Information Council held its meeting for December of the 2023/2024 academic year.

| The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed Khafaga, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Ashraf Abdel Hafiz, Assistant Minister of Planning for Digital Transformation Affairs; Dr. Hesham Farouk, Advisor for Technological Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and former Assistant Minister of Higher Education; Prof. Shereen Taie, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Mostafa Rabie; Dr. Mostafa Thabet; and Dr. Ayman Antar.

| On the sidelines of the council meeting, the delegation reviewed the faculty's efforts toward digital transformation and its aspiration to become a smart faculty. They inspected the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory with its various technologies, the transformation of the faculty library into a smart library, and the automated system for postgraduate services at the faculty.
