 First Conference for FCI Students |

| In collaboration with Challenge Family and IEEE FSB, the Faculty of Computers and Information organized the First Conference for Student in Faculty of Computers and Information (FCI) on Sunday 11th of March 2012. The event was held under the auspices of Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab, President of Fayoum University. Professor Khaled Hamza, Vice-President for Education and Students’ Affairs, inaugurated the conference. In attendance were Dr. Nabila Mohammad Hassan, Dean, Faculty of Computers and Information, Dr. Hamdy Mahfouz, Vice-Dean, Education and Students’ Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Mohammad Al-Rabaeay, Vice-Dean, Community Service and Environment Development, and Dr. Mohamed Khafagy, Lecturer of Computer Science. The keynote lecturers included Dr. Ahmed El Ashhab, Mayor of Human Development, Best Aura;Eng. Belal Younis, Director, IT Department, Wecancity; and Mr. Ahmed Allam, Director, Media Services, Wecancity. In his welcome remarks, Hamza thanked the organizers for their hard efforts. On the other hand, Hassan tackled the themes that the conference would touch which included steps to write a good CV, how to set up a website, and basic skills for the labour market. |
