| The Graduate Studies and Research Sector is seeking a well-qualified "Embassy of Knowledge Officer". Job Title: Embassy of Knowledge Officer – Embassies of Knowledge Initiative - Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) Job Description: This job is about supervising the Fayoum University's Embassy of Knowledge and providing the best information services to the embassy's visitors. Job Duties: -Supervising the embassy -Promoting its services among the university's community members. -Guiding and coaching researchers and students through their research in databases available at the BA. -Coordinating with the Administration of Embassies of Knowledge to get the information resources and required references. -Coordinating with the University Administration with regard to the embassy activities. -Organizing workshops and lectures at the embassy. -Organizing the administrative work within the embassy. Job Eligibility -A university degree -Good command of both Arabic and English – TOEFL score (500 paper-based test, 173 computer-based test, 61 internet-based test)) or IELTS score 5 or their equivalent. -Solid experience in using computer applications and programs; ICDL is a job requirements plus another certificate in computer. Required Skills and Experiences Organization – accuracy – good communication skills – resourcefulness and problem-solving skills Training and Contract The BA will give training to the selected candidate in all information resources.
