| The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) is going to launch a TV Program titled "Cairo Innovates", one of the programs offered by the ASRT under the national initiative of "An Egyptian society that can learn, think and create". The program is a competition based on innovative ideas that can be converted into innovations. The first winner in each category will be awarded a certificate of achievement, the ASRT Shield, and a money prize as follows: -School students: LE 100.000 -University students: LE 100.000 -Faculty members and academics (less than 40 years of age): LE 100.000 -Innovators: LE 100.000 In addition, the best Egyptian innovator will be announced and will get the ASRT Shield along with an extra money prize of LE 100.000. The final episode of the show will be held on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 1st Cairo International Exhibition of Innovation on November 19th, 2015.
