The Faculty of Arts Holds the Second Conference for Young Researchers

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the proceedings of the Second Conference for Young Researchers organized by the Faculty of Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, titled "Challenges of Scientific Research in the Modern Era: The Role of Young Researchers in Overcoming Obstacles and Achieving Sustainable Development."
The conference was attended by Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabiry, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Assem Al-Eissawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Tarek Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Ahmed Abu Rayyah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Central Library.
Prof. Yasser Hatata praised the organization of the conference for the second consecutive year, considering it an important platform for communication among young researchers in various scientific fields.
He stressed the need for research papers to address the current social issues and strive to provide solutions to them.
Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabiry said that the conference reflects the university's interest in young researchers, their skills, and ideas. He stressed the importance of aligning academic studies with society and striving to achieve sustainable development goals by directing research to serve agricultural and industrial production fields.
Prof. Assem Al-Eissawi discussed the research papers presented at the conference, which were diverse and distinguished, addressing significant issues. He expressed his hope that the conference would produce recommendations aimed at solving current social and humanitarian problems.
Prof. Tarek Abdel Wahab said that the conference confirms the faculty's commitment to developing scientific research, aiming to exchange ideas and engage in scholarly discussions, thus enhancing the research process among young researchers.
Prof. Ahmed Abu Rayyah emphasized the importance of the role of young researchers and directing their research to provide sound scientific solutions to the studied phenomena.
He urged researchers to contribute to the development of Fayoum through their research.
Prof. Najwan Asim, the conference coordinator, clarified that the main purpose of the conference is to exchange ideas and experiences and to work with team spirit. She thanked all the members of the conference organizing committee.
Mr. Ibrahim Fawzi delivered a speech on behalf of the young researchers in English, and Dr. Duaa Mohamed delivered a speech on behalf of the young researchers in French.
At the end of the opening session of the conference, the Faculty of Arts honored Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, the deputies, the general secretary of the university, and several directors and participants of the conference.
