The Dean Participates in the Chinese Cultural Day at the British University

Upon a gracious invitation from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the British University, Prof. Tarek Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University, attended the activities of the Chinese Cultural Day and the signing of a memorandum of understanding online between the British University and Sanda University in Shanghai. The event was attended by Prof. Jay Daly, Vice President of the British University, Prof. Shadia Fahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Hassan Ragab, Director of the Confucius Institute at the Suez Canal University, the former Dean of the Faculty of Al- Alsun at the Suez Canal University, as well as the head of the Chinese Language Department at the British University.
The event witnessed a significant turnout of students, faculty members, and numerous Chinese experts. It was organized with the aim of enhancing cultural exchange between Chinese culture and the various cultures represented at the university. The activities included diverse presentations and exciting events, such as traditional Chinese arts, musical performances, dance shows, and an exhibition of Chinese cultural activities.
The Dean expressed his pleasure at participating in this important event, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cultural understanding and exchanging experiences between different cultures. He stressed the significance of benefiting from such events in the development and enhancement of the Chinese language department at the Faculty of Arts, by leveraging the shared experiences and knowledge exchanged during this remarkable event.
