Faculty of Arts Celebrates Family Day and Honors a Number of Employees

Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and Prof. Tarek Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University, and Prof. Yumna Redwan, Professor of History at the History Department at the faculty, in the presence of faculty members, assistant staff, and all employees of the Faculty, the Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University celebrated Family Day today, March 3, 2024, by honoring a number of its employees.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, who emphasized in his speech that the international community celebrates International Family Day, which represents a fundamental pillar for building societies and civilizations, as it serves as a source of care, protection, and social balance.
Prof. Yumna Redwan affirmed that this ceremony reflects the attention given by the international community to families as a fundamental unit in individuals' lives, considering that families face many economic and social challenges and changes that may affect them. However, families can adapt to these challenges and bear burdens by enhancing communication and understanding the needs of family members, to achieve balance between the various aspects of modern life and keep pace with it.
The ceremony included various artistic performances, and it concluded with the honoring of a group of employees of the faculty.
