Under the auspices of Dean Abdel Hamid Hussein Hamouda, the Faculty of Arts organized a seminar on Bibliotherapy. The event came within the framework of the Seminar Series held by the Cultural Relations Committee of Department of Library and Information Science. The event was supervised by Dr. Zainab Hassan Abuel Kheir, lecturer of Library and Information Science.
The seminar was given by Prof. Shabaan Abdel Aziz, professor of Library and Information Science at Cairo University.
He highlighted bibliotherapy as a technique aiming to use guided reading and discussion to assist individuals to overcome negative emotions related to their real-life problems.
