Launching the 10th Summit for the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition, and the 3rd Summit for the Goodwill Ambassadors Initiative for People of Determination at the Level of Egyptian Universities.

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the opening ceremony of the tenth summit for the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition at the level of Egyptian universities, and the third summit for the Goodwill Ambassadors Initiative for People of Determination under The slogan “No disability with willpower”, which were organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare at the university.
In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and a number of deans, vice deans, faculty members, competition jury committees, administrators and students, today, Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the university’s central library.
Prof. Yasser Hatata confirmed that the university is keen to organize these summit meetings, and harnesses all material, human and artistic capabilities for them, so that they emerge with the appropriate appearance and honorable appearance required, which reflects the confidence of other Egyptian universities at Fayoum University to hold such activities and events.
He directed the students to the necessity and importance of benefiting from participating in these meetings, which are considered one of the most important adventures, scientific and life experiences that can be undertaken during the years of study, and which provide them with opportunities to get to know each other, form many relationships, become acquainted with different cultures, gain multiple experiences, and learn about new ideas in all fields, as well as having fun. With the distinctive nature of Fayoum Governorate, which is considered Little Egypt and is full of archaeological sites and multiple tourist attractions of a global nature.
Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery indicated that the number of students participating in the tenth summit meeting for ideal male and female students reached 72 male and female students, in addition to 30 male and female students participating during the third summit meeting of the Goodwill Ambassadors Initiative, explaining that the meetings aim to try to reach the actual practice of idealism through using the mind, controlling oneself and emotions, in order to achieve excellence and success, and the meetings aim to reach the best practices provided to people of determination at the level of Egyptian universities.
He also continued that male and female students deserve to receive all support to push Egyptian minds to achieve more achievements, and to reach a higher degree of luxury, comfort, and facilitation for people of determination, who are able to achieve the highest levels of excellence and success.
Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan also confirmed that Fayoum University has become one of the leading universities in organizing various summit meetings, adding that all the participating students, male and female, are indeed among the winners, as they will be provided with opportunities to learn directly and indirectly, in all fields through participating in the various stages of the competitions held, especially since the participating male and female students are the fuel and energies of society, and they are also distinguished at the level of their colleges and universities at the scientific level, and also at the level of student activities.
Prof. Assem Al-Essawy added that the summit meetings achieve mutual benefit between Fayoum University and other universities, and are also a unique experience for students to raise the spirit of competition and gain experience and cooperation between them, which works to develop their abilities and advance their personal, scientific and practical abilities.
It is noteworthy that the judging committee for the Ideal Male and Female Student Competition is headed by Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and includes (22) faculty members. The judging is based on a number of criteria, including the written test on the computer, the written test on general information, and the presentation. For personal traits and general appearance, and the ability to manage dialogue, in addition to academic excellence and previous years’ estimates, as well as in human development and community service, and in general culture, as well as the Arabic and English language, and student activities (college, university, international universities).
The judging committee of the third summit of the Goodwill Ambassadors for People of Determination initiative also judges according to a number of evaluation criteria, including general appearance, personal traits, presentation skills, presentation content and its connection to the topic, innovation in the topic, general culture, CV, interaction, article, work plan, and English language.
The final stage jury is formed under the chairmanship of Prof. Karim Hassan Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities, and the membership of Prof. Ahmed Hosni, Dean of Faculty of Social Service, Prof. Mohamed Khafaji, Dean of Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, Vice Dean of Faculty of Agriculture at Kafr El-Sheikh University. Dr. Mahmoud Sadek, Professor at Faculty of Science, Galala University.
The universities of Cairo, Alexandria, Ain Shams, Tanta, Mansoura, Zagazig, Helwan, Minya, Menoufia, Banha, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Kafr El-Sheikh, Sohag, Damietta, and Sadat City, will participate.
