Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Supervisor of Education and Student Sector, honored the university students who won the second place cup in the five-a-side football competition at the level of Egyptian universities, during their participation in the activities of the New Alamein Festival 2024 under the slogan (The World is Alamein) during the period from August 5 to 8, 2024.

The university participated in plastic arts, five-a-side football and beach volleyball. The students' participation in the festival contributes to creating a spirit of cooperation and participation between Egyptian universities, and enhancing sports, artistic and musical activities among students. This event also comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education to support and develop the capabilities of Egyptian university youth.
