10 Researchers from Fayoum University Ranked Among the World’s Top 2% on Stanford University List

Stanford University recently released its “Stanford List of Top Scientists: World's Top 2% Scientists,” highlighting the most cited researchers worldwide. The study, conducted by researchers from Stanford, includes 10 distinguished researchers from Fayoum University among over 200,000 scientists across various fields from more than 150 countries.
Below is the list of Fayoum University faculty members included in Stanford University’s list of the top 2% of most-cited scientists worldwide:
1. Prof. Mostafa Mohamed Rady - Professor in the Department of Botany, Faculty of Agriculture
2. Prof. Tayea Ali Abdel Mageed - Professor in the Department of Soil and Water, Faculty of Agriculture
3. Prof. Wael Mourad Mohamed Sameida - Professor in the Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture
4. Prof. Hazem Ali Atiya - Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics, Faculty of Engineering
5. Prof. Mohamed Abdel Karim Abdel Hamid - Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering
6. Prof. Adel Mohamed El-Sayed - Professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science
7. Dr. Shaaban Saad Ahmed Saad Al-Nesr – Assistant Professor in the Department of Poultry Production, Faculty of Agriculture
8. Dr. Mohamed Saber Mohamed Gad - Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering

The study, prepared by experts from Stanford University, was based on data from the Scopus database, covering 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. It included researchers with at least five published papers, assessing them based on factors such as the number of publications, citations, the H-index, and other research indicators.
