She advised young people seeking to travel abroad to ensure their documentation is properly prepared to protect themselves legally and safeguard their rights.
She explained that the world is currently experiencing a severe economic crisis due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war, prompting most countries to rely on their citizens for various jobs.
Ambassador Gabr highlighted Egypt's efforts to curb illegal immigration by continuously raising awareness about its risks across all governorates. She also pointed to the protocols signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration with several countries to secure legal job opportunities for Egyptian workers abroad and ensure their rights and dignity, particularly amid the region's unstable conditions.
She emphasized the critical role of women in the societal protection system, noting that mothers serve as the cornerstone of family stability. She urged mothers to remain vigilant about surrounding risks and to raise their children on sound principles.
She encouraged youth to acquire linguistic and technological skills to qualify for suitable job opportunities both within Egypt and abroad. Furthermore, she stressed the importance of adhering to ethical values and principles. Ambassador Gabr also responded to student inquiries during the seminar.
Prof. Wael Tobar noted that Fayoum University organizes numerous awareness seminars aimed at shaping students' personalities and broadening their understanding of current issues, with illegal immigration being a key global phenomenon that must be addressed.
