Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Supreme Committee for Scientific Research Ethics at Fayoum University held its twenty-second meeting, this afternoon, Monday, May 27, 2024, in the meeting room on the third floor, at the central library on the university campus, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Committee and the members. This meeting comes within the framework of what Fayoum University is promoting in strengthening the scientific research system in all its institutions.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Arafa Sabry welcomed the committee members, offering them all his sincere thanks and appreciation for their efforts to serve the employees of Fayoum University, appreciating the role that the committee plays in advancing and improving scientific research, and placing it in a sound ethical framework that ensures the achievement of its desired goals and its benefit to society.

After approving the minutes of the previous session, the initial approvals issued by Prof. Chairman of the Committee by authorization for nine research plans were also approved, and three other research plans were presented in light of the reports of the subcommittees formed at the previous meeting, in addition to discussing twenty-five proposing research plans and distributing them to subcommittees for review in light of the ethical standards specified in the Guide to the Ethical Charter for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Fayoum University. Then the topics on the agenda were discussed.
