Pharmaceutics is one of the most important branches of pharmacy .It is the science of design and evaluation of different dosage forms that are safe, effective, stable and suitable to patient.
The Department of Pharmaceutics is concerned with studying physicochemical properties of ingredients used in preparation of different dosage forms, formulation and evaluation of different dosage forms and directions that should be provided to patient for proper use of medication. In addition, Pharmaceutics department is concerned with studying courses of industrial pharmacy for production of pharmaceutical dosage forms on large scale and principles of good manufacturing practice.
