Within the framework of the cooperation between Fayoum University and Misr El Kheir Foundation, President Khaled Hamza met today with members of the Misr El Kheir Foundation.   During the meeting, cooperation opportunities between both intuitions in terms of funding accommodation fees for expatriate students residing at the university dorms during the first term of the academic year 2014/2015.   Also, funding creating a unit to chop and sterilize medical waste at the Teaching Hospital was discussed. The proposed project aims to control and monitor processes of storing, transporting and handling hazardous medical waste.   Present at the meeting were Mrs. Mona Khalifa, director of Fayoum Misr El Kheir Branch, Dr. Mohamed Fayek, director of Preventive Medicine, Mrs. Afaf Al Gohary, director of Office of Chairman of Health Sector, Prof. Farid Awad Hedar, vice president for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Khaled Attallah, advisor to Student Activities, Mr. Saleh Gomaa, university secretary-general, and Dr. Mohamed Safaa Eldin, director-general of University Hospitals.
